The role of Cake Decorator at Sam's Club entails driving member service to enhance the bakery department's contribution to the overall club experience. Working collaboratively with other associates, you will ensure that the bakery meets members' expectations by offering high-quality bakery products decorated with skill and creativity. You are responsible for planning bakery productions, maintaining consistency in quality, and executing decorative designs using tools such as decorating bags, tips, and nozzles. This position requires a strong focus on food safety standards, sanitation procedures, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. As a Cake Decorator, you will act as a brand ambassador by modeling high-quality service and products while supporting and mentoring fellow associates. You will contribute to operational excellence by controlling shrinkage, maintaining stock levels, and preparing for seasonal bakery demands such as holidays and family events. The position involves handling member queries, resolving concerns, and offering expert assistance with purchasing decisions.
