Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years retail banking experience as Teller/ Customer Service Representative
- General understanding of banking operations preferred
- Experience fostering customer relationships
- Knowledge of banking products and services
- Willingness to be cross trained
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Professional and positive demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

Job Qualifications

- At least 1-2 years of combined retail banking experience as a Teller and Customer Service Representative
- General understanding of banking operations including risk, compliance, fraud, and loss
- Prior experience in fostering strong customer relationships
- Knowledge of banking products and services
- Willingness to be cross-trained in other branch functions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional and positive demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including phone skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment
- Flexibility to work weekends, extended hours, and travel occasionally for training
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging clients in a friendly and professional manner and resolving service-related issues timely and efficiently
- Conduct business ethically by communicating the facts and features of various Apple Bank products, accounts, and services
- Recognize opportunities to acquire new or additional banking relationships by understanding customer needs and offering suitable products and services, making referrals to licensed representatives when appropriate
- Establish, retain, and deepen relationships with customers to achieve sales and referral goals while delivering quality service
- Handle teller operations by processing transactions according to policies and procedures and securing cash and negotiable instruments
- Assist in vault, safe, and ATM machine opening and closing and maintain the customer area orderly and well supplied
- Communicate all disclosures, rules, and regulations to customers upon account opening and adhere to compliance and security policies to ensure client and bank asset safety
