This position involves working closely with Prosegur's security teams to monitor and protect commercial or industrial premises, ensuring safety and security at all times. The role primarily focuses on managing access control, patrolling the site to deter theft or unauthorized activities, responding promptly to emergencies, and maintaining order and compliance with company policies. Security Officers play a vital role in upholding the integrity of the facilities and the trust clients place in Prosegur’s services. In addition to physical security, the role encompasses active observation of security systems, effective communication and visitor management, as well as incident reporting and investigation.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 plus years of age
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver license
- Able to follow complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to undergo drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Job Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of premises
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
- Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of the rule
- Manage access control at a closed campus
- Monitor, operate, dispatch response to various security systems
- Provide escort services for occupants of client property, as requested
- Answer telephone calls and take messages, answer questions, and provide information during business and non-business hours
- Respond to emergencies and investigate disturbances
- Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
- Secure facility and designated areas
- Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
- Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
