The role of the Driver, Hourly CDL-A at Core-Mark plays a vital part in sustaining America’s food supply chain. This position is essential not only for the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products but also for fostering long-term customer relationships as the face of Core-Mark. The driver is entrusted with operating a tractor trailer or straight truck on varied routes including intrastate, interstate, local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight delivery schedules. The role demands adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies while ensuring that products arrive in excellent condition and on schedule. Drivers are expected to perform thorough safety inspections, manage freight counts, handle required paperwork, and engage professionally with customers and co-workers.

Compensation for this role includes competitive pay starting at $31 per hour plus component pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a $1,000 annual retention bonus. The schedule is Monday through Friday with dispatch occurring between 4:30 AM and 6:00 AM, structured as a 4-day workweek with optional overtime opportunities.
