Job Description

Penske Logistics is a global leader in logistics management, specializing in transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that drive significant business results for some of the world's top companies. Operating across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics combines advanced technology and seasoned expertise to provide state-of-the-art supply chain services that enhance visibility, improve efficiency, and reduce costs for its clients. The company is known for its commitment to innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction, which has made it a trusted partner in the logistics industry.

Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join its team at the Glendale, Arizona location. This role offers an attractive hourly wage of $26.78 with overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week. As a Penske driver, you can expect to be home daily, working a five-day week that includes weekends and holidays, with dispatch times varying between 5 am and 2 pm based on route assignments. The position involves driving late model, Penske Truck Leasing vehicles equipped with the latest safety features, including inward and outward facing in-cab cameras that ensure on-road safety for drivers and others.

The driving role is focused on delivering groceries to local stores, operating on a no-touch freight basis, meaning you will not be responsible for loading or unloading cargo. Drivers are expected to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, reflecting the company's dedication to superior customer service and building strong relationships with its accounts. Working for Penske means not just driving a truck but representing reputable brands by often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.

Beyond the driving duties, Penske emphasizes its commitment to employee well-being through a comprehensive benefits package starting from day one of employment. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement plans, excellent healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision, short and long-term disability insurance, life and AD&D coverage, company-provided uniforms, an employee discount program, and referral bonuses reaching up to $5,000 per referral. The company also runs safety incentive programs and a Premier Driver Recognition Program to reward excellence and dedication.

Penske Logistics prides itself on providing stable employment with top-tier equipment, supportive management, clear communication, and a stellar safety record. The company pays drivers promptly every Friday, underscoring its commitment to its workforce. Drivers also benefit from numerous training opportunities and the option to relocate to different cities nationwide, offering career growth and mobility. Penske is an equal opportunity employer that prioritizes safety and compliance with all federal and state regulations, including work readiness under the Department of Transportation guidelines.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are dedicated, safety-conscious, and looking for a rewarding career in truck driving with a nationally recognized and respected company. If you have a valid Class A CDL and meet the required experience and safety records, Penske Logistics welcomes you to apply and become part of their professional driving team.
