The Truck Driver role at San Diego Rescue Mission is a vital position responsible for the transportation of food and material donations across San Diego County. The mission of this role is to ensure the timely and safe pickup and delivery of donated goods, which sustain the Mission's extensive outreach programs. This position supports the warehouse and distribution operations by performing an average of 10-15 donation pickups daily. The Truck Driver must operate company vehicles safely, load and unload donations with care, and maintain accurate records using inventory management software. Besides driving duties, this role also includes assisting with general warehouse tasks such as organizing and distributing donations, supporting team collaboration, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate servant leadership as a positive role model for clients, volunteers, and staff while reflecting the Mission's spiritual commitments.
