Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout each shift
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds for tasks like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash
- Must be able to interact face-to-face with crew members and customers
- Ability to navigate safely in a fast-paced café environment
- Ability to multitask and stay positive under stressful conditions
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must comply with safety and security policies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers "Unparalleled Hospitality" to each customer that visits our cafe
- Prepares ingredients for our food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s standards
- Uses our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe
- Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
- Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
