The company is currently expanding globally and is looking to hire an experienced, results-driven professional to lead and develop a dynamic, customer-centric sales and customer service team. This role is pivotal in fostering growth by ensuring that sales objectives are met across both lighting and systems product categories. The candidate will play a critical role in providing sales and operations leadership by visiting showroom locations nationwide, managing the sales team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals, and ensuring that all activities comply with the company’s core values and policies.
This position demands 100% travel to various showroom locations and requires a leader who is capable of building strong teams, supporting sales processes, and driving customer engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and directing sales teams, partnering with business development specialists, and utilizing sales and operational data analysis to prioritize sales efforts. Additionally, the role involves managing showroom operations to maintain an outstanding brand presence and delivering seamless customer service experiences.

Job Duties
- hire and manage sales team
- provide support, coaching and direction to ensure comprehensive understanding of Visual Comfort’s sales approach, customer service, and showroom procedures
- partner and foster strong relationships with business development specialists
- create and manage proactive sales and business development strategies to target and convert new customers
- demonstrate and ensure customer service excellence to maximize retention
- utilize and analyze sales and operations data to drive sales priorities
- lead onboarding and continuous training for team members
- actively participate in local market networking events
- collaborate with marketing to develop local market events
- support and participate in sales processes and customer interactions
- manage all sales stages from opportunity to invoice when needed to ensure follow-up, clean sales, minimal returns and satisfaction
- ensure compliance with company and showroom policies
- maintain showroom cleanliness and attractiveness per visual standards
- assist with merchandising and managing inventory
- train staff on point-of-sale and operating systems
- maintain sales floor and showroom organization to enhance safety and efficiency
- coordinate product resets, build outs, and installations
- manage shipping and receiving activities
- contract cleaning and maintenance resources
- ensure showroom readiness daily
- communicate store status including sales, returns, and personnel
- prepare timely monthly reports
- ensure accurate inventory, sales reports and bank records
