The work environment at ExamWorks is fast-paced, team-oriented, and supportive, offering competitive benefits such as medical, vision, and dental coverage, paid time off, and a 401k plan.

We are currently seeking a dependable, friendly, and organized Traveling Receptionist to join our team based in Santa Rosa, CA, with travel responsibilities to surrounding clinic locations. This is a full-time position offering an hourly pay range of $24 to $25, reflecting the importance we place on this role for maintaining smooth operations and providing excellent client service. Travel is an essential part of this position, requiring approximately 25% travel time, and the company provides paid travel time and mileage reimbursement to support this aspect of the job. The position offers flexibility, including occasional early mornings, later afternoons, and weekend shifts, with schedules provided six weeks in advance to allow for personal planning.

As a Traveling Receptionist at ExamWorks, you will represent the welcoming face of multiple clinic locations and be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and professional experience for examinees and staff alike. This role offers a unique blend of structure and variety with responsibilities ranging from greeting and checking in examinees to preparing charts and paperwork for appointments. You will play a key role in coordinating communication by answering phones and directing calls appropriately while assisting in maintaining the upkeep of a clean and organized lobby area. You will also help escort examinees to exam rooms, support physicians and clinic staff as needed, and monitor workflows to ensure appointments remain on schedule.

In addition to these patient-facing duties, you will support the Clinic Director with various administrative tasks, making this position well-rounded and dynamic. The job requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time efficiently in a busy healthcare environment. We seek candidates who are computer tech-savvy with proficiency in software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to interact effectively with clients, staff, and healthcare professionals.

This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their clerical career in a healthcare setting. We welcome candidates who are reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn; training will be provided to the right applicant who demonstrates a positive attitude and solid customer service skills.
