NYC-based private chef or freelance chef with proven holiday event cooking experience
strong culinary background with versatility across plated and family-style dining
ability to create elevated yet approachable menus suitable for adults and children
experience preparing holiday classics strongly preferred
strong organizational and time management skills
professionalism discretion and ability to adapt to private household environment
valid U.S. work authorization
willingness to travel and reside in provided accommodations during holiday period

Job Duties

Design menus in consultation with the family including dietary accommodations for adults and children
source ingredients locally ensuring freshness and quality
prepare and execute meals to a high standard including one elevated plated dinner and two family-style meals
prepare cocktail hour bites and beverages including mocktails and cocktails
manage kitchen organization cleanliness and food storage
collaborate with household staff to ensure seamless service
provide exceptional hospitality and flexibility throughout the holiday period
