The current opening is for a Travel Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Endoscopy, located in Seattle, Washington. This role is a 13-week travel assignment at Harborview Medical Center, a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital known for its advanced patient care and academic environment. The position requires the nurse to work 40 hours per week over four 10-hour day shifts, typically from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including 1-2 weekends or holidays per month on call. The travel nurse will be expected to provide expert care in endoscopy procedures, including patient intake, procedural sedation, recovery, and assisting physicians and technicians during procedures. This role demands proficiency in conscious and procedural sedation, as well as comfort operating in a fast-paced acute care setting. Experience with Epic electronic health records is mandatory, alongside current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.

Ideal candidates should have at least two years of acute care endoscopy nursing experience and preferably an ICU background. The role is suitable for both experienced travel nurses and those embarking on their first travel assignment, offering a supportive and dynamic work environment in a prestigious medical center. This opportunity not only supports professional growth through exposure to a high-acuity patient population but also provides comprehensive support from LanceSoft’s staffing specialists who ensure a smooth transition and continual career development. This position represents an excellent chance for a dedicated RN to expand their skills and experience in a travel nursing role that values clinical excellence and professional fulfillment.
