Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work scheduled 12-hour day shifts
- Willingness to relocate or travel to East Ridge, Tennessee
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Active certification in basic life support (BLS) and neonatal resuscitation program (NRP)
- Eligibility to receive travel nurse licensing and credentialing
Job Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license
- Specialized training or certification in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery or maternal-child nursing
- Ability to handle high-stress and emergency situations calmly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Assist with emergency interventions and complications during childbirth
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition and care provided
