The Manager, Transportation role at US Foods is a critical leadership position tasked with overseeing the Transportation department's operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective outbound shipments. Handling various administrative duties such as scheduling, safety meetings, accident investigations, and maintenance of driver qualification files is also within the scope of responsibility. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in transportation, delivery, or warehouse distribution, along with at least one year of supervising workforce experience. Knowledge in safety, regulatory compliance, and people management are essential. The expected salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $105,000, depending on experience and location.
