The Training Senior Manager, GxP Operations Support, at Vertex is a pivotal role within the Vertex Manufacturing Center, specifically tailored to support small molecule internal manufacturing and testing operations. This position is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of comprehensive training programs that align closely with the company’s manufacturing goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure that all training initiatives are timely, relevant, and impactful, fostering a high-performance culture. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on involvement in training content development and delivery, utilizing modern learning technologies such as e-learning modules and learning management systems (LMS).
In this position, the Training Senior Manager plays a critical role in enhancing employee capabilities, ensuring compliance with Good Practice (GxP) regulations and internal standards, and driving continuous improvement through effective learning solutions. The individual will be tasked with developing innovative training approaches including workshops and on-the-job training, and evaluating training effectiveness through metrics and feedback. The job is on-site, requiring physical presence at the manufacturing center five days a week, with some limited flexibility.
