Job Description
Voltage is a dynamic company deeply embedded in the B2B energy sector, specializing in delivering innovative technical solutions through cutting-edge products and services. The organization operates at the forefront of the energy transition, providing advanced energy balance of system (eBOS) hardware designed to optimize and accelerate the deployment of utility-scale solar projects. As a company, Voltage prides itself on pioneering industry-leading technologies that resonate with engineers, EPCs (engineering, procurement, and construction companies), developers, and utility partners. Voltage champions sustainable energy growth through strategic collaboration and technical excellence, playing a pivotal role in driving industry change and environmental impact on a global scale.
The Event Marketing Specialist role at Voltage presents a distinctive opportunity. Unlike traditional event marketing positions, this role is deeply integrated with Voltage's B2B sales engine, functioning as a critical interface between technical innovation and market engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing high-impact marketing experiences that align seamlessly with the company’s sales pipeline and product release strategy. This includes involvement in massive industry trade shows like RE+, account-based marketing (ABM) events, customer events, and field activations aimed at establishing Voltage’s industry credibility and accelerating the energy transition.
This role is not merely about event logistics but involves strategic planning and execution across various marketing initiatives. From managing complex product showcases that highlight Voltage's eBOS solutions to coordinating account-specific quarterly business review meetings (QBRs) for strategic utility partners, the Event Marketing Specialist drives revenue pipeline, strengthens market positioning, and fosters meaningful engagement within the energy sector. Responsibilities extend beyond event management to include demand generation strategies such as executing email direct marketing (EDM) campaigns and supporting ABM outreach, ensuring consistent audience engagement through the buying cycle.
Day-to-day operations involve meticulous planning and management of the annual event calendar and budget, campaign development, booth operations, post-event reporting, and close collaboration with sales and marketing teams. The role requires excellence in both on-site event coordination and off-site digital and direct marketing initiatives, making it vital for the successful candidate to possess a blend of creativity, technical understanding, and operational expertise.
Voltage thrives on diversity and inclusive culture, and this role reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and teamwork. Joining Voltage means contributing to a fast-growing, dynamic environment where your efforts directly impact the company's success and the broader shift toward sustainable energy. For professionals passionate about event marketing within the cleantech and industrial hardware sectors, Voltage offers a challenging and rewarding environment where both career growth and meaningful industry contributions are achievable.
