Job Description
Legends Global stands as a premier partner to some of the world's most iconic live events, venues, and brands. Operating through a fully integrated service model, Legends delivers exceptional experiences that span hospitality, merchandise, partnerships, venue management, and live event operations. With an impressive network that includes over 450 venues worldwide, hosting more than 20,000 events annually and entertaining around 165 million guests, Legends is driven by a culture of ambitious thinking, collaboration, and bold execution. The organization prides itself on creating an inclusive workplace that fosters growth, contribution, and success among its team members. Winning and excellence are embedded in the company’s everyday mindset, motivating employees to contribute toward unforgettable guest experiences.
The role available is within the Toledo Complex, which includes both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, two significant venues that require operational support across multiple event environments. The position offered is that of Suites Runner. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest service by working closely and cooperatively within the Catering Department, specifically focused on the Suites environment. The Suites Runner ensures that all items necessary for the suites are efficiently obtained and delivered in a timely manner, both before and during events. The candidate will be instrumental in supporting event setups by delivering orders promptly and courteously, assisting in opening and closing duties as assigned, and maintaining a strong knowledge of the venue layout and pertinent event locations.
This position demands knowledge of food, beverage, and menu items, adherence to Legends’ uniform and grooming standards, and the flexibility to handle other duties as assigned based on business needs. The job environment includes operating throughout the Toledo Complex, covering warehouses, docks, storage areas, kitchens, concessions, and event spaces where duties might be performed indoors or outdoors. Given the diverse and fast-paced nature of the work environment, employees must be prepared for exposure to varying temperatures, including coolers, freezers, outdoor weather, and high-volume event atmospheres.
Safety is a critical focus at Legends. All team members must adopt safe work habits, comply with safety policies and regulations, and complete company-wide as well as job-specific safety training. The Suites Runner is expected to operate equipment only when properly trained and authorized, wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), promptly clean up spills and hazards, report unsafe conditions immediately, and document any workplace injuries or illnesses on the same day via the company’s risk management system.
Legends Global is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity and inclusion, actively encouraging applications from Women, Minorities, Individuals with Disabilities, and Protected Veterans. The company operates under VEVRAA federal contractor requirements, demonstrating its commitment to inclusive hiring and workforce diversity.
This opportunity is perfect for individuals who excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, have strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in the hospitality and live event industry. Working as a Suites Runner provides meaningful exposure to live event operations while being part of a global leader in venue and event management.
