The Takeout Specialist position at Pizzana offers a dynamic and customer-focused role, responsible for managing takeout orders with accuracy and enthusiasm. Paying a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $18 including tips, and providing a free meal when working, this role reports directly to the General Manager. The specialist is a vital link between Pizzana and its guests, ensuring that orders are taken accurately, payments processed smoothly, and that every guest interaction embodies the company’s values. Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining aesthetic standards when packaging and assembling orders. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role involves educating guests on menu offerings, handling feedback with professionalism, and resolving concerns promptly. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude reflective of the company culture. Furthermore, understanding and executing in-store promotions and new product rollouts are integral to the role, ensuring guests are informed and satisfied. Physical stamina is required to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate a range of environmental conditions. Job Requirements

Must be at least 17 years of age
Minimum of 1 years experience in the food industry is preferred
Necessary food handler’s certificate
Must have the ability and stamina to work a minimum of 25 hours a week
Ability to stand and walk for 4-8 hours per day
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors
Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic
Must be able to tolerate potential allergens including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish

Job Duties

Act as a company advocate and embody Pizzana’s values including excellent customer service, innovation, community, cleanliness, and a great place to work
Hold the guest as the most important priority at all times
Enthusiastically greet the guest making eye contact and smiling
Take the order listening closely to ensure every order is filled promptly and accurately including smart sell if applicable
Maintain aesthetic guidelines while packaging
Ensure orders are entered in the POS system accurately
Collect payment from the guest
Assemble the order checking for accuracy
Deliver the order making eye contact and repeating the order number and prepared food items
Thank the guest and invite to return again
Communicate guest feedback to restaurant management
Educate guests on products offered
Resolve guest concerns with respect and a sense of urgency
Understand in store marketing promotions
Execute new product rollouts including selling to guests and product execution
Practice proper cash handling procedures
