Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Founded in 2015, OVG operates a wide platform encompassing venue development and management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales across seven world-class owned venues and numerous iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions around the world. With operations spanning four continents, OVG continues to drive innovation and excellence in the sports and live entertainment industry, delivering unmatched experiences for fans, guests, and partners alike.

One of OVG's premier venues is Canvas Stadium, an outdoor college football stadium located on the campus of Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado. Opened in the summer of 2017, Canvas Stadium brought Rams football back to the CSU campus after a 50-year hiatus. This state-of-the-art facility has become a hub for vibrant collegiate sports culture and engagement opportunities for students, alumni, and local fans. OVG’s management of such venues exemplifies its commitment to delivering high-quality entertainment and hospitality services throughout the year.

The part-time Server position at Canvas Stadium offers a unique opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and fast-paced environments. The role is centered on providing ultimate hospitality and excellent customer service in a high-volume setting during CSU football home games and possible catering events. This position is scheduled around CSU’s 2026 football season, requiring availability for all seven home games, typically involving 9 to 12-hour shifts depending on the game location.

The Server will play a critical role in ensuring guests experience timely, friendly, and professional service. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of the menu and special offerings, delivering food and beverages at the proper temperature, and presenting all items neatly without spillover. Attention to detail, from pre-busing and bussing tables during peak periods to stocking beverage stations, is vital to the smooth operation of service. Additionally, effective communication with teammates and kitchen staff will be essential to creating an impressive dining experience.

This role pays an hourly wage of $16 and is tip eligible, with an additional potential bonus of $200 awarded after the completion of all seven games. The bonus program incentivizes commitment and excellent performance throughout the season. Moreover, OVG provides part-time employees with important benefits such as access to a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions and accrual of paid leave based on hours worked. These benefits reflect the company's dedication to supporting its team members, even in part-time and seasonal roles.

Candidates for this server position should have experience in fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage environments, hold or be willing to acquire food handling credentials, and possess effective communication skills to maintain a positive and cooperative work atmosphere. A high school diploma or GED is required. The position remains open until August 21, 2026, allowing prospective applicants ample time to apply and prepare for the upcoming football season.

Joining Oak View Group at Canvas Stadium means becoming part of a team committed to diversity, inclusion, and innovation. OVG acknowledges that diverse perspectives drive creativity and excellence in service delivery, and they actively foster an environment that celebrates differences. They are an equal opportunity employer committed to non-discrimination across all protected classes, emphasizing the importance of respect and inclusiveness in the workplace.
