Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in hospitality or food service preferred
- Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card
- Must acquire and maintain Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to work long shifts on game days including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Commitment to work all seven home football games, with possible exceptions
- Ability to maintain a professional and clean appearance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
- High school diploma or GED
- Must acquire and maintain Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification
Job Duties
- Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to banquet guests and communicates clearly with all customers
- Ensures that food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen as ordered
- Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items with no spillover
- Pre-buses and fully buses tables during peak periods
- Maintains availability to work during peak periods
- Stocks beverage stations when necessary including ice, juices, glassware, and sugar packets
- Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests
- Maintains a professional and clean appearance
- Communicates with waitstaff, buspersons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve coordination and guest experience
- Builds and maintains knowledge of bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions
