Responsibilities include managing cashless transactions, validating pre-sold parking passes efficiently, and guiding guests to their designated parking stalls. This position requires a proactive, friendly attitude combined with strong communication skills to assist guests promptly and courteously.

The role further encompasses maintaining parking lot order and safety by directing vehicles through complex campus roadways and parking areas, performing routine vehicle inventory counts, and helping with light upkeep, such as sweeping and litter removal. The Parking Ambassador must be vigilant in adhering to all safety regulations, which ensures not only the guests’ safety but also the smooth operation of parking logistics during events.

Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a parking or customer service role
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and move throughout outdoor parking areas for extended periods
  • Must comply with safety and operational guidelines
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1 year of previous experience in a parking role or similar
  • Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus

Job Duties

  • Match the guest's parking pass and provide real-time guidance to the parking location
  • Process cashless guest payments
  • Direct vehicles on Arena campus roadways and through parking lots and to parking stalls
  • Conduct routine vehicle inventory counts before and during events
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and employees promptly and in a friendly manner
  • Perform other duties to ensure productive parking operations including moving equipment such as traffic cones, barrels, delineators, movable signage, and barricades
  • Follow and comply with safety regulations and standards
  • Provide basic parking lot upkeep including sweeping and light litter removal
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure productive operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction
