The company proudly serves an impressive portfolio of world-class venues, including arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. With this extensive reach, OVG is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences through innovative and sustainable venue operations that foster community engagement and memorable events.

One of OVG's premier locations is the Hilliard Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. This venue is a hallmark for entertainment and events in South Texas, offering a state-of-the-art arena, the historic Selena Auditorium, and a versatile convention center. Overlooking the scenic Corpus Christi Bay, the Hilliard Center is a vibrant hub for live entertainment, conventions, and community gatherings. Managed by OVG and owned by the City of Corpus Christi, the Hilliard Center combines modern amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and premium food and beverage services to ensure an unmatched guest experience.

The Line Cook role at the Hilliard Center is a part-time position paying an hourly rate between $12.00 and $18.00. This role is integral to the culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality foods served to guests throughout the venue. Line Cooks will work in various culinary stations, including buffet lines, meat slicing, and made-to-order dish preparation. The role demands adherence to company recipes, portion control, and excellent sanitary practices. It also requires flexibility to work scheduled events and maintain excellent attendance.

Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate proficiency with standard kitchen equipment such as broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and chef knives. Additionally, having a valid food handling certificate, with preference for ServSafe certification, is essential. The Line Cook must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers, management, and guests to foster a positive and cooperative work environment. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, event-driven atmosphere, showing dedication to quality and safety standards in meal preparation.

This position offers part-time employees access to a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, supporting both their immediate employment needs and future financial security. The application window for this role remains open until October 30, 2026, offering a timely opportunity for those seeking a meaningful culinary role in a dynamic entertainment setting.
