Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a globally recognized leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Founded in 2015, OVG has rapidly positioned itself as a disruptive force in the sports and entertainment industry by focusing on long-term investments in its people and sustainability efforts. The company manages and develops world-class venues, including arenas, stadiums, convention centers, and cultural spaces, and it offers a broad range of services such as venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. With a footprint spanning four continents, OVG is the fastest-growing firm in the public assembly facility management field, overseeing more than 300 facilities throughout the United States and Canada.

At Blue Arena, located within The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado, OVG manages a versatile 6,800-seat multi-purpose venue that hosts a variety of events including sports like hockey, basketball, and football, concerts, family shows, rodeos, and trade shows. Blue Arena is home to the American Hockey League’s Colorado Eagles and operates as a key sports and entertainment hub in Northern Colorado, drawing visitors from nearby Denver and Cheyenne. This venue is notable for its flexibility and capacity to host dozens of different types of events, making it an exciting and dynamic place to work.

The Event Manager role at Blue Arena represents a critical leadership position responsible for coordinating all aspects of event execution alongside managing the Guest Service staff. This full-time position, with a competitive annual salary ranging from $58,000 to $62,000, offers an opportunity to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering exceptional fan and client experiences. This role requires strong organizational skills to develop event layouts, prepare operational outlines, schedule event staff, and manage event logistics to guarantee smooth execution. The position demands effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders including tour personnel, building staff, contractors, and tenants to meet event production requirements and regulatory compliance.

Additionally, the Event Manager is tasked with budget development and control, handling event financial estimates and settlements, and providing post-event reporting to senior management. The role involves hands-on use of scheduling software, AutoCAD for event layouts, and a strong understanding of venue operations, crowd management, and safety regulations.
