This includes participating in event service activities such as planning, set-up procedures, staffing arrangements, security coordination, and post-event billing. The position emphasizes adherence to all relevant regulations such as laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management protocols, safety precautions, and emergency guidelines. You will have the chance to contribute to problem resolution by analyzing issues quickly, identifying effective solutions, and assisting in the administration of company policies related to the Guest Services department.
This part-time role pays an hourly rate of $17.50 and comes with benefits including a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching, which is a valuable offering for those looking to build long-term financial security even in a part-time capacity. The role demands flexibility as it requires availability across various hours, including daytime office work, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the full calendar of events at the Mullins Center. Ideal candidates are current students or recent graduates from university programs in venue management, event management, sport management, or related fields, possessing a blend of strong organizational abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership aptitude, and a passion for delivering exemplary customer service.
Joining Oak View Group means becoming part of a diverse and inclusive environment that values the power of difference to drive innovation and excellence.
