The position also requires maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area, handling cash transactions accurately, and demonstrating excellent communication skills with both customers and colleagues. In addition to beverage service, duties include setup and breakdown of bar equipment and general organizational support.

- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment

- Bartending license not required to start

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state and federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available, and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making
- Request additional product or restock product as required
- Handle cash accurately and maintain the issued bank at the bar
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler
- Other duties as assigned
