Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more bartending experience
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and long hours
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- Ability to follow state and federal alcohol regulations
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must provide valid identification to verify legal drinking age
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Bartending license not required to start
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service
- Serve alcoholic beverages compliant with state and federal laws
- Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
- Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age
- Communicate cut-offs to guests when necessary
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and escalate to management or security if needed
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and bar equipment
- Handle cash accurately and manage the bar bank
- Set up and break down bar equipment as required
- Assist with organization of the cooler
- Request additional product or restock as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
