The Wiltern, one of Live Nation's iconic venues, is inviting applications for the role of Production Runner. This position is integral to the success of live shows, tasked with supporting talent and production operations under strict confidentiality. The Production Runner works behind the scenes to ensure smooth logistical coordination, contributing directly to the artist's and production team's needs during events. They act as the vital link that assists in operational errands, delivery of food, equipment, and other essential items, while maintaining exceptional organization and cleanliness in stage and backstage areas.

This role demands a proactive, resourceful individual capable of handling multiple tasks in the fast-paced and often stressful environment of live music production. Responsibilities include assisting with show passes and guest lists, supporting the Hospitality Coordinator with artist requirements, and adhering to company protocols for opening, running, and closing duties. Candidates must also possess knowledge of music and promotional events hosted at The Wiltern to ensure seamless event execution.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a properly working automobile and provide proof of insurance
  • Must have an exceptional driving record
  • Must have knowledge of touring or stage production operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work late and extended hours
  • Flexible schedule
  • Excellent communication skills and punctual
  • Knowledge of region to properly locate restaurants, stores, music stores, area attractions, etc.

Job Qualifications

  • 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment (preferred)
  • Experience in hospitality (preferred)
  • Experience in a live music environment or comparable role (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and deliver food and beverage to the band or talent
  • Retrieve and deliver equipment, paperwork, etc.
  • Ensure stage and backstage areas are clean, organized, and free of clutter
  • Assist with any other aspect of stage production, such as show pass and guest list distribution
  • Assist Hospitality Coordinator with any needs of the artist
  • Perform opening, running, closing side duties according to company practice and policy
  • Have knowledge of all music, promotional or special events in the house
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times
