The role of the Food and Beverage Operations Manager at The Whit is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing and elevating the entire food and beverage service experience. This full-time position offers an annual base salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, with the potential for an additional 20% bonus based on key performance indicators. The F&B Operations Manager acts as the orchestrator of service, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the brand's high standards. This includes hands-on floor management, mentoring, and educating team members, as well as actively engaging with guests to enhance their dining and beverage experience.
A successful candidate will bring at least five years of lounge and restaurant management experience in fine dining or polished service operations and possess a strong knowledge of cocktails and wine. The manager is expected to excel in relationship building, inventory control, labor management, and operational logistics while maintaining a keen focus on guest satisfaction throughout each shift. They will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance management of a diverse front-of-house team, including servers, bartenders, and hosts. Additionally, the F&B Operations Manager monitors cost of sales and labor, utilizes systems such as TOAST and Harri for operational reporting, and manages end-of-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery.
