The restaurant is well respected for its innovative approach and dedication to high standards. Currently, The Optimist is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead this acclaimed restaurant team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a generous quarterly bonus program. As Restaurant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily restaurant operations through positive, open, and approachable leadership during shifts. This role involves active participation in menu development and change processes, hiring and training new staff, supervising the team, and resolving issues swiftly and proactively. Effective communication is key, with responsibilities including maintaining the daily log for staff and management coordination. The Restaurant Manager will play a critical role in labor management by aggressively monitoring labor costs, scheduling efficiency, and controlling overtime to maximize productivity and profitability. The ideal applicant will have at least three years of progressive restaurant experience, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory or management position, bringing strong leadership skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for quality service.
