Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a full-service high-volume kitchen with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Strong technical cooking skills palate and plating sensibility
  • Proven ability to manage a line delegate tasks and lead a team under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety kitchen systems inventory and prep planning
  • Excellent communication time management and team-building abilities
  • ServSafe Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen team during prep and service ensuring smooth communication pace and execution
  • Support and enforce the Executive Chef's culinary vision and standards across all menu items
  • Conduct daily line checks and tasting to ensure food quality consistency and cleanliness
  • Set the tone for professionalism teamwork and a positive kitchen culture
  • Train and mentor cooks and prep team on technique recipes timing and plating
  • Provide on-the-fly coaching during service to uphold performance and standards
  • Participate in hiring onboarding and evaluating kitchen staff
