Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
- ability to work in a daily outside office environment under variable weather and temperature conditions
- minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- preferred experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to cold call and develop new business
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- problem-solving, organizational and negotiation skills
- team collaboration skills
- tech-savviness including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing the customer relationship in a team-based selling model
- educate customers on ordering platforms, provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
- drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations
- work collaboratively with specialists and other teams to assist with new accounts and penetration opportunities
- develop new business by utilizing market intelligence, business directories, client leads, participation in organizations, and trade shows
- manage delivery resolutions by troubleshooting issues such as delivery mispicks, short loads, and stock-outs
- maintain competitive advantage by staying informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products and prices
- conduct regular site visits, check-ins, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
