As a Territory Manager at US Foods, you will play a pivotal role in shaping customer relationships and driving business growth within your assigned territory. Job Requirements

  • One plus year of sales experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license required with motor vehicle record in good standing
  • Foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
  • Problem solving ability, organization and negotiation skills
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Tech-savviness with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms providing menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth and acquiring new business through tailored sales presentations
  • Work collaboratively with specialists for top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
  • Develop new business utilizing market intelligence, business directories and participating in industry events
  • Manage deliveries according to the routing schedule and troubleshoot order process issues
  • Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors to provide value-added services
  • Conduct regular customer check-ins, site visits and follow-ups using personal motor vehicle
