Job Requirements

  • Hs diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record
  • Foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit
  • Strong problem solving, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Team mentality
  • Tech-savviness including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably 1+ year of sales experience
  • Foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and conduct cold calls

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team-based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations
  • Work collaboratively with specialists, marketing, supply chain, and customer service to assist with account penetration and new account openings
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence, directories, leads, and attending trade shows
  • Manage deliveries according to transportation schedules and troubleshoot order process issues
  • Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activities to provide value-added services
  • Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and strong relationships
