Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated success in B2B sales preferably within industries such as roofing, building products, pool, landscape, or related industry
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English and/or bilingual (Spanish) may be required in specific locations
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel and attend company meetings, tradeshows, and industry events

Job Duties

  • Create an incredible customer experience which forms strong, solid customer relationships and leads to an increase of core customers
  • Identify, target, and engage potential customers through cold calls, tradeshows, trade associations, outreach campaigns, and networking
  • Listen attentively to customers and understand their needs to build trust and rapport
  • Analyze customer needs, identify a product or service that meets those needs, and help them achieve their goals
  • Clearly explain product or service features, promptly address customer concerns, and effectively convey the value proposition
  • Strategize sales activities in advance, prioritize tasks, and manage time and territories effectively to maximize sales effectiveness
  • Communicate with branch teams and field support teams to ensure alignment and meet customer expectations seamlessly
  • Respond quickly and timely to all requests embodying our Consider It Done attitude
  • Meet or exceed sales, margin, and mix expectations with integrity
  • Complete Quarterly Business Reviews with core customers
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Complete all required training
  • Drive adoption of digital solutions
  • Provide valuable reporting and data analysis within your assigned territory or vertical
  • Ensure accounts are in good standing (credit)
  • Collaborate with vendors to support customer needs
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
