This private household is seeking a highly experienced and professional chef to provide temporary meal preparation and delivery coverage while their regular chef is away. The role is short-term, needing service from July 27 through August 3. The family prioritizes fresh, high-quality meals made using only the best ingredients, including certified organic produce, organic grass-fed and grass-finished meats, and wild-caught seafood, aligning with their preference for superior nutrition and taste.
The household is comprised of two clients who require individualized meal preparation, labeling, and packaging. The ideal candidate must have access to a catering-grade kitchen to efficiently prepare organized, ready-to-eat meals in accordance with detailed client preferences. The position demands not only culinary expertise but also exceptional organizational skills to manage menu submissions for approval, ingredient shopping, adherence to receipt submission, and timely meal delivery. Meals will include lunch, dinner, and snacks, with a Friday delivery that may cover meal needs for the entire weekend. Each client's meals must be prepared, labeled, and delivered separately to maintain the highest standards of clarity and customization.
The role goes beyond cooking; it requires clear communication about menu updates, delivery timing, and any arising questions. The chef must also handle logistical tasks such as organizing meals in the client's refrigerator as instructed and collecting empty containers with any leftover food when requested.
