Job Description
RLC is a fast-growing, family-owned company with over 60 communities nationwide, recognized for its supportive leadership and beautiful resort-style environments. As a purpose-driven organization, RLC is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for every day. Known for delivering exceptional service and fostering a sense of community, RLC continuously invests in its team members to ensure they have fulfilling career opportunities and the tools needed to succeed.
We are currently seeking a Temporary 2nd Shift Concierge to join our vibrant team. This role is essential as the welcoming face of the community, serving as the first point of contact for residents, families, and guests. Beyond being a receptionist, the Temporary 2nd Shift Concierge engages in a variety of dynamic and hands-on tasks that support the smooth operation of the community. This position requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and attentive to detail while maintaining a professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
The Temporary 2nd Shift Concierge will work from Thursday through Monday during the hours of 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, providing coverage for a couple of months. This temporary position demands a passionate individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, possesses strong multitasking abilities, and is skilled at problem-solving while maintaining a customer-centric focus. The role includes duties such as valet parking, answering phone calls, monitoring safety systems, assisting with administrative tasks, supporting community operations, and ensuring a clean, secure atmosphere. The Concierge will also be responsible for emergency response and ensuring compliance with local alcohol and food handling regulations.
In this role, you will create a positive first impression by greeting visitors and residents warmly, effectively managing phone communications, and anticipating the needs of those within the community. The role also emphasizes teamwork, requiring collaboration with various departments to support events, room service, and dining room coverage. Additionally, guiding new residents through their orientation process ensures a smooth and comfortable transition into the community.
Beyond its immediate responsibilities, this role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a company that values servant leadership, family culture, and professional growth. At RLC, making a difference every day is more than just a phrase; it is embedded in the work environment and in the way team members support each other and the residents they serve. If you are looking for a temporary, yet impactful position that offers a chance to build connections, develop your skills, and work within a caring community, this role is a perfect fit. We encourage candidates with a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a willingness to assist wherever needed to apply and join the RLC family.
