The role of Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living is a vital part of the dining service program and is offered as a part-time position with scheduled Saturday shifts from 4 pm to 8 pm and Sunday-Monday shifts from 12 noon to 8 pm. As a Dishwasher, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dish room, ensuring the safety and readiness of all food preparation equipment, dishes, and utensils. This position requires someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of empathy in serving the senior population. The dishwasher must be capable of working quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with team members. Exceptional hospitality skills and a commitment to enhancing resident satisfaction are critical for success in this role. The Dishwasher’s responsibilities include operating dish machines, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and assisting with stocking following food deliveries. Additionally, the candidate will help cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
