The Technology Director role within Aramark’s Salute program is a senior leadership position that drives the vision and execution of technology strategies supporting military and defense food service operations spread across numerous U.S. military installations. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology computer science business or related field
- 6+ years of experience in IT leadership digital strategy or technology management roles
- Proven project management skills with ability to lead large technology projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Experience with DoD or federal government contracting preferred
- Familiarity with military installation technology infrastructure preferred
- Prior experience in food service or managed services industry preferred
- PMP ITIL or equivalent certification a plus

Job Duties
- Lead the overall IT and digital strategy for the Salute program ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards
- Drive strategic technology planning for competitive advantage
- Develop frameworks for digital innovation and technology adoption
- Identify and recommend technology improvements to enhance operational performance
- Provide executive-level reporting and presentations on IT strategy and digital transformation
- Direct and manage the technology project portfolio including system implementations and upgrades
- Project manage technology initiatives ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Lead technology project management for new installation openings and facility refreshes
- Utilize project management tools to track progress and manage dependencies
- Serve as the primary liaison between technology and other business functions ensuring seamless collaboration
- Partner with corporate IT and enterprise technology teams to align systems with governance and security standards
- Provide technical expertise as a trusted advisor to internal departments
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and supply chain partners
- Perform detailed evaluation and benchmarking of technology performance
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in technology use
- Oversee capital equipment technology sourcing and installation
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security protocols, and federal requirements
- Maintain technology standards ensuring security and data integrity
- Manage technology risk and lead remediation efforts
- Manage and develop technology support personnel fostering innovation and accountability
