The role available at Flagstone Foods is centered around maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with the company's quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures. Specifically, this position involves the upkeep and maintenance of the interior environment including furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, and walls, as well as managing building accessibility and appearance through routine cleaning and trash disposal. The candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment, monitoring and replenishing cleaning and sanitizing supplies across the plant, handling hazardous cleaning tasks such as those involving bloodborne pathogens and adverse water events, and supporting common area repairs by filing work orders as needed. This position requires a high level of independence and attention to detail to maintain continuity between shifts and ensure a safe and clean working environment for all employees. The role is designed for individuals comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and who have at least six months of manufacturing experience. The physical demands of the job are significant, including mobility, standing, walking, and lifting tasks, as well as the need to operate cleaning machinery and use computers for documentation purposes. The work schedule specified for this position includes weekend and evening shifts, reflecting the continuous operations of the manufacturing plants. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 6 months experience in a manufacturing work environment
- ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting 25 to 50 lbs
- willingness to work weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 4:15 am to 2:30 pm, Monday 2:15 pm to 12:30 am)
- adherence to company safety and quality standards
- ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- willingness to comply with procedures, rules, and regulations for a safe working environment

Job Duties
- maintains building interior by dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures
- washing windows, counters, walls, ceilings, and woodwork
- sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors
- cleaning and vacuuming drapes, furniture, and carpeting
- resupplying rest rooms
- maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up papers and trash
- removes trash by emptying trash containers
- transporting materials to disposal area
- recycling materials
- keeps cleaning equipment operational by following manufacturer’s operating and care guidelines
- maintains parts and equipment inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
- anticipating needed parts
- anticipating cleaning equipment replacement
- placing orders
- maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- maintains continuity between shifts by documenting cleaning actions, noting areas requiring additional care or monitoring
- file work orders for equipment/building and common area repairs as needed
- contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- assist in the cleaning and sanitizing of adverse water events, i.e., roof leaks, drain leaks
- assist in bloodborne pathogen cleaning/sanitizing
- monitor and replenish sanitizer mats/stations around the plant as needed with Boost FT Sanitizer
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
