This job opening is for the position of Team/Crew Leader at a well-established restaurant known for its high standards in customer service and product quality. The Team/Crew Leader role is pivotal in maintaining smooth daily operations by leading and supervising basic operational duties that contribute directly to the restaurant's overall performance. This role requires hands-on participation in various station tasks, including fountain and frozen beverage service, food preparation areas, grill, switchboard, expediting orders, and drive-thru management when applicable. The person in this role acts as a key liaison between front-line crew members and management, ensuring that operational standards are met consistently. A significant responsibility of the Team/Crew Leader is to assist with new employee orientation and training, fostering a knowledgeable and skillful team environment. Moreover, the role demands meticulous attention to cleanliness and sanitation duties, vital to adhering to health and safety regulations and providing guests with a safe dining experience.
The Team/Crew Leader also plays a critical role in team communication by leading shift meetings, addressing any customer or employee concerns, and communicating these issues directly to the Manager on Duty to facilitate timely resolution. Physical demands include the ability to move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds and performing various job-related duties as assigned. The position's work environment involves continuous physical activity such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting in a fast-paced restaurant setting, with exposure to varying temperatures from kitchen heat to freezer cold. The ideal candidate will have foundational restaurant or retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively while handling decision-making and conflict resolution in a leadership capacity. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 30 hours per week availability including irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Experience in a restaurant or retail setting preferred
- Capable of handling exposure to heat, hot liquids, and cold temperatures
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and communicate with team members

Job Duties
- Perform, lead, and supervise station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru if applicable) as assigned to meet operational standards
- Assist with new employee orientation and training
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Perform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease pursuant to operational standards
- Regular attendance
- Lead shift meetings
- Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD
- Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
