We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Team Members to join our expanding locations in Southern California. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and desire to build a rewarding career in the food service industry. Team Members at Jersey Mike's Subs are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing fresh subs according to company standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere. The starting pay rate ranges from $21.00 to $22.50 per hour, inclusive of tips, reflecting our commitment to compensating our staff fairly and competitively. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K retirement plan, and 48 hours of sick pay, further enhancing the overall value of working with us.

Ideal candidates possess a great personality and can easily engage in conversations with customers, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Fast learners with an enthusiastic attitude who can keep up with a busy environment are highly desired. Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are fundamental to succeeding in this role. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers card before joining the team, adhering to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Jersey Mike's Subs is also looking for those who demonstrate a sharp self-image, meet the company's image standards, and exhibit integrity and initiative in their daily responsibilities.

In addition to Team Members, the company is seeking Shift Leaders and Management Candidates with previous experience in quick service or food service. Management candidates should have at least one year of leadership experience, possess strong coaching and mentoring skills, and maintain comprehensive oversight of restaurant operations. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food and labor cost management is a plus. Jersey Mike's Subs supports the use of an Automated Decision System (ADS) employing AI technology to ensure the best match between job candidates and the open positions, streamlining the recruitment process and ensuring equitable assessment.
