Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables
  • must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
  • ability to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
  • enter orders into POS system and use suggestive selling of food products
  • receive payments and make change while maintaining cash drawer
  • present orders to guests ensuring accuracy
  • assist with food preparation and stocking supplies
  • read monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
  • notify cook of special orders, shortages and needs
  • perform general cleaning duties including dining room tables, restrooms, sweeping and mopping
  • set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • communicate with customers, team members and managers positively and professionally
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of service and order presentation counters
  • maintain cleanliness, organization, and rotation of display cooler
  • observe health, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • assist team members enthusiastically
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • work variable schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
