Job Description

This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated Jack in the Box restaurant franchise located in Lake Forest, California. Jack in the Box is a well-known fast-food restaurant chain specializing in providing a wide variety of high-quality, tasty menu items. However, this particular restaurant is owned and managed by an independent franchisee, not directly by Jack in the Box Inc. This means that all employment-related matters including hiring, wages, discipline, scheduling, and staffing are handled directly by the franchisee who acts as your employer. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • physical ability to stand and walk 90-95 percent of the shift
  • ability to lift and carry 15-25 pounds
  • basic math skills
  • ability to communicate clearly in English
  • ability to follow uniform and grooming standards
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Guest service or food cook and preparation experience helpful
  • must be at least 16 years old
  • ability to understand and communicate clearly in English
  • ability to perform basic math
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • capable of multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant
  • knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Deliver excellent guest service by following Jack in the Box procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • prepare and assemble menu items ensuring quality and accuracy
  • handle guest orders efficiently including POS operation
  • maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • work collaboratively with team members to support restaurant operations
  • perform duties related to both front and back of the restaurant as assigned
