This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated Jack in the Box restaurant franchise located in Lake Forest, California. Jack in the Box is a well-known fast-food restaurant chain specializing in providing a wide variety of high-quality, tasty menu items. However, this particular restaurant is owned and managed by an independent franchisee, not directly by Jack in the Box Inc. This means that all employment-related matters including hiring, wages, discipline, scheduling, and staffing are handled directly by the franchisee who acts as your employer. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- physical ability to stand and walk 90-95 percent of the shift
- ability to lift and carry 15-25 pounds
- basic math skills
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- ability to follow uniform and grooming standards
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Guest service or food cook and preparation experience helpful
- must be at least 16 years old
- ability to understand and communicate clearly in English
- ability to perform basic math
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- capable of multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant
- knowledge of food safety standards
Job Duties
- Deliver excellent guest service by following Jack in the Box procedures
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- prepare and assemble menu items ensuring quality and accuracy
- handle guest orders efficiently including POS operation
- maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- work collaboratively with team members to support restaurant operations
- perform duties related to both front and back of the restaurant as assigned
