Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must obtain Food Handler's card within 60 days of hire
  • must have successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes or other employers
  • must pass background investigation for Tribal Gaming License or Permit
  • must be able to work any assigned shift including weekends and holidays
  • must be flexible to work all venues in a similar position

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • minimum two years experience as a Line Cook in a full service dinner house
  • at least one year experience grilling, broiling, steaming, and sautéing foods
  • at least one year experience cooking seafood, breakfast, and fry cook menu items
  • knowledge of HACCP
  • knowledge of Health Codes and Liquor Laws
  • ability to work in multiple kitchen venues
  • flexible with shift assignments

Job Duties

  • Prepare stocks, sauces, and soups
  • sauté, pan-fry, poach, steam, roast, grill, wood char broil, wok cook, and braise food
  • properly prep and cook various meats, poultry, fish, and seafood
  • maintain highest culinary standards as set by management
  • adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
  • work flexible shifts including days, swings, graves, weekends, and holidays
  • pass background investigation for Tribal Gaming License or Permit
