Job Requirements

  • Outgoing and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a high volume fast paced operation
  • Must have strong organizational skill and must detailed oriented
  • Ability to work any assigned shifts, including weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable knowledge of word, excel and computers overall
  • Ability to push, pull or lift up to 30 lbs., using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment
  • Ability to bend or kneel for up to 15 consecutive minutes to perform cleaning tasks in the dining room and kitchen
  • Ability to work standing, walking or moving for long periods of times without need to sit down

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Comfortable knowledge of food and beverage products and services
  • Ability to use reservation and computer systems including Word and Excel
  • Experience in a high volume upscale operation preferred
  • Knowledge of club policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests and ensure seating according to reservations
  • Review cover forecast report and set menus before restaurant opens
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of reservation process and property booking capacities
  • Maintain comfortable knowledge of club food, beverage products, and property information
  • Handle member reservation requests promptly and ensure satisfaction
  • Ensure accuracy of reservation system and proper member charges
  • Assist and communicate with chefs and management on large party reservations and dietary requests
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work and dining environments
  • Follow alcohol and beverage control regulations including identification of minors
  • Support good health and safety practices
  • Use diplomacy and tact when dealing with guests and members
  • Assist at door during holidays or special functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
