The role available is an Assistant Director of Finance position within HEI Hotels and Resorts. This is a full-time opportunity with an annual salary range of $80,000 to $85,000. The Assistant Director of Finance supports the Director of Finance by overseeing the financial activities of the hotel, safeguarding assets, and preparing financial reports in line with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI's stringent standards. The role requires effective management of accounting functions, departmental budgets, and schedules for accounting personnel. This position also involves collaboration in producing timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with finance policies, and managing accounts receivable and balance sheet reconciliation tasks. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Finance plays an important part in training accounting associates and is expected to demonstrate sound administrative and managerial skills. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, relevant hospitality finance experience, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and strong communication abilities. Travel constitutes a significant portion of the role, at approximately 75% of the working time.
