  • Proven experience in cooking Tantuni for more than 2 years
  • Experience in Turkish and Kurdish cuisine
  • Strong background in food service management, including experience in supervising kitchen staff
  • Experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Additional certifications in food safety are a plus

Job Duties

  • Cook Tantuni and other dishes in a busy kitchen in NE Portland, Oregon
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets, ensuring all requirements are met
  • Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste
  • Lead by example in cooking techniques, presentation, and customer service excellence
