Rooted in service, the company ensures equitable employment opportunities and promotes diversity and inclusion at every level.

The System Retail Food Service Manager position at Aramark Healthcare supports the Jefferson Health System by overseeing retail dining operations across more than sixteen sites. This role is highly dynamic and involves significant travel, approximately 80% of the time, to various healthcare facilities within the system. The role is essential in managing retail dining services in hospitals, focusing on delivering outstanding customer experiences through effective marketing, merchandising, and cash handling. The manager will execute dining solutions that align with customer preferences and drive profitability, ensuring food service areas meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a frontline leader, the System Retail Food Service Manager is responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, including cafeterias, food courts, and quick-service venues. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation, including implementing specials, limited-time offers (LTOs), and coordinating unique concepts such as pop-up restaurants and third-party collaborations like Fooda. The role involves building and maintaining strong working relationships with multiple departments to ensure a seamless and unified retail experience for customers. Additionally, the manager will lead a team, directly supervising a minimum of two employees and overseeing hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and payroll decisions.

The position requires a hands-on leader who excels at driving customer service improvements and responding effectively to customer feedback through surveys and direct engagement. Financial acumen is also vital as the manager participates in forecasting, accounting, and tracking sales trends to optimize retail performance. The role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for candidates with retail food service management experience who thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented healthcare environment. Aramark Healthcare emphasizes skill development, adaptability, and teamwork, encouraging employees to grow professionally while positively impacting the communities they serve.
