The System Travel Clinical Dietitian position is based at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH) in Philadelphia, PA, although it provides a unique opportunity to serve across the entire Jefferson Health system. This role entails delivering expert clinical nutrition coverage at multiple Jefferson Health sites in the greater Philadelphia area. As a System Travel Clinical Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in assessing patients’ nutritional status, designing individualized nutrition plans tailored to their medical history and current health needs, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to implement evidence-based nutrition protocols. This travel-based role requires flexibility and adaptability as you float between locations with schedules primarily Monday through Friday, with rare weekend coverage necessary.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required
- Licensed Dietitian status in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
- 2 years or more clinical practice experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Duties
- Assess patient’s nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
- Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
