Managing the reservation system effectively is a key part of the role, which includes balancing seating within reservation times, quoting accurate wait times, and avoiding overbooking or underbooking the restaurant. Hosts and hostesses will escort guests to their tables while engaging in light conversation to enhance the overall hospitality experience.

Beyond these primary duties, hosts and hostesses at Sixty Vines are expected to interact professionally and kindly with guests and colleagues, arrive punctual and prepared for shifts, and adhere to uniform and appearance standards. Sixty Vines offers a competitive hourly wage averaging $17, inclusive of tips, along with flexible schedules to accommodate employees. Additional benefits include five days of paid time off (PTO) after one year conditional upon meeting minimum average hour requirements, and insurance options available after 90 days of employment with similar hour requirements.
