  • Food Handler's Certification

  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • proficiency with knives and bar equipment
  • good communication skills in English
  • punctuality and reliability
  • knowledge of sanitation and alcohol safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • wear proper uniform and assemble/disassemble the bar area according to procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups according to proper recipe
  • assist guests with questions or concerns regarding menu, including knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate questions or issues promptly to management
  • work cooperatively with coworkers and management
  • perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
  • set up team for next shift success
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and alcohol service regulations
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock service bar before shift end
  • assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and comps
  • clean and maintain all equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues to supervisor
  • have complete knowledge of food and bar menu and drink recipes
